Menominee-Delta-Schoolcraft Transit Efficiency and Regionalization Study (MDSTERS) Public Virtual Meeting

Posted on

We want to make it easy for everyone in the Central UP to participate in the Menominee-Delta-Schoolcraft Transit Efficiency and Regionalization Study (MDSTERS) virtual public meeting. Join via Zoom from the comfort of your home and hear the draft recommendations, ask questions, and share your thoughts.

MDSTERS aims to guide regional transportation decisions by bridging the gap between policy and implementation. It will:

  • Provide a snapshot of the current transportation system, including an analysis of how residents and commuters use transit services.
  • Determine where interagency coordination is needed among the transit providers to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance connectivity across the region.
  • Explore strategies for what types of services and operations can be coordinated that address unmet mobility needs and strengthen the transit network.

The purpose and main goal of MDSTRES is to explore the feasibility of coordinating and consolidating transit services to ensure that the Central UP enjoys a sustainable and robust transit system that will serve future generations.

When: Monday November 30, 2026, 4-5:30 PM
