The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), in partnership with the Kansas State University (KSU) National Radon Program Services, is sponsoring an in-person radon mitigation course. This three-day National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) certification course will be held September 4 through 6, 2024, at the Ramada Inn in Marquette, Michigan.
Course attendees will learn radon mitigation strategies, radon entry and behavior, investigation and diagnostics techniques, and hands-on radon mitigation installation techniques.
Prospective mitigation course attendees must take or have previously taken a radon measurement course as a prerequisite to attend this course. KSU has a 2-day web-based radon measurement course offered on July 29 and 30, 2024. To access a list of additional in-person and web-based radon measurement course options, go to the NRPP Initial Training webpage.
Assistance with KSU radon course fees is available!
