Don't forget to register for the 2022 Cybersecurity Symposium at Northern Michigan University starting Aug 30 and going until September 1st. These sessions are FREE and will be informative on how to avoid cyber-attacks and keep your organization safe. The goal in this hands-on workshop is to increase cyber-hygiene around the UP. No previous experience required.
Day 1 | Aug 30
Connections and resources: meet with and hear from federal, state, and local cybersecurity professionals on resources, services, and grants available to you to help increase your cyber hygiene. Day 1 also includes the annual NMU Cybersecurity Industry Advisory Committee meeting as an afternoon breakout session. Please join us for a networking reception at the end of the day.
Day 2 | Aug 31
Incident response planning and exercise: Participate in a CISA-led incident response planning and incident response workshop. Day 2 also includes the monthly Michigan Cyber Partners meeting and Cybersecurity Apprenticeship working group as breakout sessions.
Day 3 | Sept 1
Cyber resiliency: Participate in short workshops designed to help you understand your current posture and increase your cyber resiliency. Schedule short small group sessions with federal and state resources to review topics from the workshop specific to your sector focus.
